This a comp that wasn't rejected but a shift in the company (i was shifted into unemployment =D) saw another designer actually inplement it. So the final design was a bit different. I kinda liked it but as you can see i didn't have much to go on.

As a friend once told me- Design is all about working within limitations. The challenge is not to just make something that looks good, but to help the client communicate their message. It is much harder when the client places limitations on what you can do. I have a lot of designs that I feel could have been better if the client let me do my own thing, but that is the reality of working with clients.

When I first saw this design I was imediately impressed. It has a very professional, trustworthy feel.

I found the site online, and I like your version much better than the one up there. Yours is much cleaner and professional.

True, but even with limitations you can produce stunning work.

I ate a salad at Olive Garden once that gave me a vicious stomach thing almost like a mild case of food poisoning or something. I didn't want to go back to Olive Garden for couple years afterward. Just thinking about their salads made me feel terrible.

Something in this piece creates that same response in me. A shared experience between you and I that makes my stomach sink.
